Location: MX
Salary: Monthly up to $4,000
Benefits: Full benefits
Type: Contract

Must Have Skills:
  • At least five years of practical network engineering or support work within intricate enterprise settings, with a background at an MSP, VAR, SI, or a comparable consulting or client-facing environment being essential.
  • Deep expertise in Cisco-based routing and switching, along with proven hands-on troubleshooting spanning routing, switching, and challenging connectivity problems.
  • Solid command of core networking concepts such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, trunking, VPNs, ACLs, and TCP/IP.

  • Full English fluency and the capability to convey technical matters clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of Tier 2 escalations covering Cisco routing, switching, wireless, security, firewalls, and SD-WAN systems for a major enterprise healthcare client.
  • Investigate and resolve complicated performance, connectivity, authentication, and availability problems while diagnosing across the entire network rather than a single platform.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and record findings, troubleshooting actions, and resolutions in clear documentation.
  • Engage directly with client IT teams on incidents, progress updates, and resolution work while navigating a large enterprise environment and coordinating with several technical groups.
  • Assist in bringing new environments online, including documentation and monitoring configuration, and flag optimization opportunities, recurring problems, and environmental risks.
  • Work alongside the Service Desk, Tier 3 Engineers, and infrastructure teams, mentor less-experienced staff, and help refine SOPs and operational processes.
