Must Have Skills:
- A minimum of five years working within pricing, strategic finance, or offer development functions.
- Proven capability in constructing financial models and conducting scenario-based analysis.
- Solid analytical abilities, including the capacity to retrieve and interpret data (advanced SQL not required).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to design models, work through sizable datasets, and present insights visually.
- Strong grasp of financial and business fundamentals, including assessing revenue, margins, acquisition expenses, attrition, and customer value.
- Skilled at forming well-reasoned, defensible assumptions when historical figures are scarce; a background in a subscription-driven business is preferred, along with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop financial models and business justifications supporting new pricing structures, packaging, and promotional programs.
- Assess how proposed initiatives may affect revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Formulate sound assumptions and build scenario models in situations where past data is limited.
- Interpret performance metrics and convert those findings into practical recommendations for pricing and offers.
- Shape pricing ladders and offer approaches that steer customers toward suitable products and packages, and define how offers should differ across direct response, digital, and partner channels.
- Coordinate with Finance to clarify financial outcomes, risks, and strategic value, partner with analytics teams to set up post-launch measurement, and work alongside IT to successfully develop and roll out offers.
