We are currently looking for a Hardware Security Module (HSM) Engineer. We have 2 open positions. Please apply and we can discuss!

Must Have Skills:
  • Three to five years of hands-on experience administering HSM platforms and performing cryptographic operations
  • Direct working knowledge of HSM products from vendors such as Thales, Entrust, Futurex, Utimaco, or SafeNet
  • Solid grasp of PKI concepts, digital certificates, TLS/SSL protocols, and key lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with regulatory and security frameworks including FIPS 140-2/140-3, NIST SP 800 series, and PCI-DSS
  • Proficiency in scripting tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for task automation
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a closely related discipline — or comparable professional experience

Responsibilities:
  • Set up, configure, and administer HSM appliances while keeping a current asset inventory and ensuring all configurations satisfy compliance mandates such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001
  • Coordinate firewall and network change requests to enable secure communication between HSM devices and connected systems, and manage partitioning, remote administration, and audit capabilities
  • Partner with development and infrastructure groups to embed cryptographic services into enterprise applications, and resolve any HSM integration challenges involving APIs or security platforms
  • Build and maintain automated monitoring and alerting solutions to track HSM performance, availability, and health metrics
  • Perform firmware and software updates with minimal disruption, investigate cryptographic security incidents, and identify root causes
  • Participate in security audits and provide rotational on-call support for HSM-related outages and emergencies
