CRB Workforce Named to SIA's 2026 List of Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms

Company NewsAugust 11, 2026·5 min read

No. 20 nationally. No. 7 among IT-focused staffing firms. Here's what the ranking means and how we got here.

We're proud to announce that CRB Workforce has been named No. 20 on Staffing Industry Analysts' (SIA) 2026 Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms list, one of the most competitive and closely watched rankings in the staffing industry. Among the IT-focused firms that made this year's list, CRB Workforce ranks No. 7, a reflection of the demand for the specialized technology recruiting our team delivers every day.

Since our founding in 2018, CRB Workforce has grown from a small technology and marketing staffing shop into a full-service partner offering permanent recruiting, executive search, and contract and consulting staffing for companies across the country. Along the way, we've built specialized expertise in EdTech and higher education, entertainment, travel and leisure, and consumer apparel, and we've expanded beyond domestic staffing with the launch of CRB+, our nearshore solution connecting US companies with elite software engineers, product managers, and data professionals across Latin America.

By the Numbers

  • No. 20 nationally, out of 58 qualifying firms
  • No. 7 among IT-focused staffing firms on the list
  • 35.6% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in US staffing revenue, 2021 to 2025
  • $20 million in 2025 US staffing revenue

"This recognition belongs to our whole team, not just the name on the door," said Sam Brenner, CEO of CRB Workforce. "Every recruiter, account manager, and person behind the scenes here has had a hand in this growth. We've never been the biggest firm in the room, but we've always been one of the most committed to getting it right for our clients and our candidates. This ranking tells us that approach is working, and it pushes us to keep raising the bar."

What It Takes to Make SIA's List

SIA's Fastest-Growing Staffing Firms list is not a popularity contest. To qualify, a company must have generated at least $1 million in US staffing revenue in the base year (2021 for this year's list) and posted an organic CAGR of at least 15% in US staffing revenue through 2025. Only organic growth counts; any revenue gained through acquisitions is stripped out before firms are ranked. That means every company on the list, including CRB Workforce, grew by winning new clients and filling more roles, not by buying growth. Out of the thousands of staffing firms operating in the US, only 58 met that bar this year.

A Growing List of Recognition

This SIA ranking adds to a run of national recognition for CRB Workforce. We've been named to the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies for four consecutive years running (2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026), and we've earned a spot on the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For list as well. You can see our full press coverage on our media page.

The announcement was carried by Yahoo Finance, Benzinga, and TheStreet, part of 174 media placements reaching a potential audience of more than 6.3 million.

Built for What's Next: CRB+

Growth like this doesn't happen by standing still. We've also launched CRB+, our nearshore staffing division that connects US companies with vetted, English-fluent software engineers, product managers, and data professionals in Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico, all working in US-aligned time zones at 40-60% below typical domestic rates. It's the same CRB Workforce standard of hiring, just with a wider bench of talent to draw from.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the SIA Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms list?

It is an annual ranking published by Staffing Industry Analysts, the research firm the staffing industry treats as its system of record. Firms are ranked by organic compound annual growth rate in US staffing revenue over a four-year window, which for the 2026 list runs from 2021 to 2025. Because the methodology is revenue-based and audited against a fixed set of criteria, the list is a measure of demonstrated growth rather than reputation or self-nomination.

How does a staffing firm qualify for the list?

A firm needs at least $1 million in US staffing revenue in the base year and an organic CAGR of at least 15% through the final year. Revenue acquired through mergers or acquisitions is removed before ranking, so only growth the firm generated itself counts. In 2026, 58 firms out of the thousands operating in the US cleared that bar.

How many IT staffing firms made the 2026 list?

IT is the second-most represented segment on the 2026 list, accounting for 27% of the firms recognized, behind healthcare at 34%. CRB Workforce ranks No. 7 among the IT-focused firms and No. 20 overall. If you are weighing a technology hiring partner, it is worth understanding how IT staffing agency pricing works and how long a software engineering search realistically takes before you start.
