Most Important:
6+ months of experience in OSP Engineering, network design, or related telecommunications field.
Proficiency in Esri tools such as ArcGIS Pro and Site Tracer for network planning and design.
Experience with data management and GIS/3GIS tools for maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
Proven ability to evaluate OSP infrastructure conflicts and recommend practical solutions.
Demonstrated success developing, updating, and maintaining fiber network designs in platforms like 3GIS.
Confident in collaborating with engineering, construction, and field teams to ensure project success while maintaining thorough documentation of design changes.
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and resolve conflicts in outside plant (OSP) infrastructure using 3GIS for network accuracy.
Support PMs and fiber engineers with data uploads, identifying fiber capacity issues and updating route information.
Utilize GIS tools to manage and update network assets and plan efficient layouts.
Leverage proficiency in 3GIS, ArcGIS Pro, and Site Tracer for fiber planning and asset management.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance.
Review GIS maps, conduit data, and layout drawings to assist with planning.
Create, maintain, and refine fiber network designs within GIS platforms such as 3GIS.
Apply strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Maintain thorough documentation of network designs and changes in internal systems.
