Must have skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in telecom or enterprise network engineering.
Deep understanding of 4G/5G Core technologies (EPC, 5GC, SMF, UPF).
Hands?on experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
Strong knowledge of cloud?native architectures and open?source tooling.
Proven troubleshooting skills across wireless and core network architecture.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the subject matter expert for Mobile Private Networks, including EPC and 5G Core (5GC) architecture.
Review, validate, and approve end?to?end network designs aligned with the long?term EPC, 5GC, transport, and enterprise onboarding roadmap.
Architect customized MPN solutions based on customer environments, traffic patterns, and reliability requirements.
Lead migration strategies for enterprise customers transitioning from EPC to 5GC.
Design and implement automation and orchestration for virtualized and bare?metal network functions.
Drive deployment and automation of SMF, UPF, vLMA, and network slicing environments across multiple vendor platforms (e.g., Ericsson).
Utilize Python, Ansible, and cloud?native tooling to streamline provisioning and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with engineering, transport, and product teams to integrate new features and network changes.
Support enterprise onboarding teams to ensure seamless deployment of private network solutions.
Provide technical leadership in discussions with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks across network projects to minimize customer impact.
Troubleshoot complex issues across EPC, 5GC, and transport layers.
Contribute to long?term strategy and planning for next?generation enterprise private networks.
