Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Salary Upon Conversion: $30-33/hr 
Sponsorship Available: No – Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Most Important:

  • 5–7 years of IT experience (technical support, IT operations, or systems administration)
  • Experience supporting manufacturing and/or defense environments
  • Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171/800-53, ITAR, SOX)
  • Proven ability to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and enterprise IT teams
  • Experience supporting multi-site or distributed IT environments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening requirements

Technical Focus Areas:

  • Operating Systems: Windows 10/11, Windows Server (2016–2022), macOS, basic Linux/Unix
  • Microsoft Environment: Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Identity & Access: Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy
  • Networking: TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, VPN, LAN/WAN, wireless (802.11)
  • Infrastructure: Print servers, network printing, remote access tools (Bomgar/BeyondTrust, RDP)
  • ITSM: ServiceNow, ServiceDesk Plus, or similar ticketing platforms
  • Security & Endpoint: Endpoint security tools, MFA/SSO, patching, vulnerability management
  • Endpoint & Asset Management: SCCM, Intune, EndpointCentral, asset lifecycle tracking
  • VoIP systems

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite Level 1–2 support for hardware, software, applications, and network issues
  • Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and proactively address IT issues
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests within SLAs
  • Coordinate with enterprise IT teams on incidents, projects, and deployments
  • Act as the primary IT point of contact for site leadership and business users
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and access control policies
  • Support audits, access reviews, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate vendor support and third-party service delivery
  • Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset records, and service metrics
  • Support end-user training, security awareness, and best practices
