Location: Fairbanks, AK Compensation: $25–$40/hour Type: Direct Hire Sponsorship Available: No
Most Important:
Strong experience servicing multi-function printers- Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, and Kyocera
Proven background repairing production-level copiers and printers, including print drivers and connectivity
Excellent customer service and professionalism — this is a customer-facing, field-based role
Willingness to travel to client sites, including remote locations requiring plane travel
Must have a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, proof of insurance, and ability to pass a background check
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with office equipment repair and maintenance
Strong understanding of print processes and networked printing environments
Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams
Strong time management and organizational skills
Comfortable documenting service activity accurately and professionally in ticketing systems
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough and efficient equipment repairs to minimize repeat service calls and end-user downtime
Meet or exceed service-level expectations for ticket response and resolution
Build and maintain positive client relationships through professional communication and service delivery
Accurately document service activity and updates in the service management system
Serve as a technical resource for other service team members, supporting triage and device troubleshooting
Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for assigned equipment
Prioritize daily service activities and manage workload effectively
Maintain organized and accurate parts inventory; coordinate with parts management as needed
Follow established parts ordering, return, and inventory procedures
Provide end-user training on equipment operation and functionality when required
Remain flexible and support other service team members as business needs evolve
