Most Important:
Strong expertise in Python, PyTorch, Pandas, and MLOp
Experience with HTMX (major plus), NLP, LLMs, and LaneGraph or similar deep learning frameworks
Proven success in designing scalable machine learning pipelines and production-grade AI systems
Self-starter with an architect mindset — someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, and can lead end-to-end implementation
Hands-on experience in RLHF (reinforcement learning with human feedback), FastAPI, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Websockets
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in AI/ML, computer vision, and NLP
Ability to build and deploy multimodal and deep learning solutions in production environments
Comfortable working cross-functionally with data, engineering, and product teams
Demonstrated experience working on high-impact AI initiatives at scale
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the VP of AI, CIO, and engineers to develop AI systems supporting personalized learning and automation
Help automate the video review process of nursing students’ skill demonstrations using computer vision and AI models
Design, build, and maintain robust AI infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability of model deployment
Contribute to the development of multimodal deep learning models focused on video, text, and voice analysis
Support broader applied AI initiatives to improve student outcomes and academic scalability
