Most Important:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining complex software systems
  • Strong proficiency with modern web technologies like TypeScript, REST APIs, and frameworks such as Next.js
  • Proven track record designing scalable cloud-first solutions (AWS preferred)
  • Experience mentoring developers and contributing to high-impact engineering decisions

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices
  • Skilled at integrating systems through APIs and working with relational databases
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows, version control (Git), and modern dev tools (e.g., IntelliJ, VS Code)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities:

  • Lead backend development efforts that improve internal tools and user-facing features
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to plan and deliver robust technical solutions
  • Enhance system performance and reliability through thoughtful design and code reviews
  • Support cross-functional teams by providing technical guidance and resolving critical issues
  • Identify long-term technical improvements and help drive adoption of engineering best practices
