Most Important:
5+ years of hands-on experience designing and scaling enterprise-level payment processing systems
Proven track record working with payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, or Adyen
Deep understanding of compliance standards (PCI DSS, KYC, AML, GDPR)
Deep familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with architectural patterns like microservices, load balancing, and caching strategies
Expertise in fraud detection tools, tokenization, TLS, and advanced security frameworks
Ability to integrate compliance and risk mitigation strategies into payment architecture
Responsibilities:
Architect secure, scalable, and high-performing payment solutions aligned with enterprise strategy
Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration and regulatory compliance
Drive initiatives related to payment security, fraud prevention, and customer transaction protection
Lead the design of an enterprise-wide financial ledger to support accurate, real-time financial reporting
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging payment technologies to ensure long-term system relevance
