Qualifications:
This position must remain up to date on new technologies and software development practices and is able to translate these skills to their team's deliverables
Software development: 7 years (Required)
Being a technical lead for software delivery teams: 3 years (Required)
Thorough understanding of software engineering and object-oriented design principles
Competency in large scale solutions that solve real world problems
Demonstrable success in software development project delivery in a range of business domains
Proficiency in writing professional, documented, and well-tested code
Conversant on software and architectural design patterns
Understands and can articulate how source control, CD/CI, containers, and agile methods fit within the software development landscape
Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of external and internal project stakeholders
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript and their related ecosystems:
Strong experience with integration technologies:
REST API and JSON schema design
Responsibilities:
This role is critical to ensuring the organization can ramp up a large team rapidly
This role will participate and lead a high performing full stack development squad which builds innovative solutions and customer experience for the organization
This role will work to help the squad prioritize, build, deliver the most impactful features and serve as a mentor to help guide and train other engineers on the squad as well as the greater team
This position will evaluate the needs, time limitations, and system limitations when developing software
Solutions using Camunda a plus
Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to define and develop technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices
Participate in collaborations with business and technical teams to review conflicts/gaps between functional goals and existing capabilities
Adhere to best practices for code development, version control, continuous integration/delivery, and test/build automation
