Most Important:

• 5+ years experience
• Leadership experience 

Qualifications:

• Team player and proven leadership skills
• Well rounded understanding of fabrication processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills 
• Proven experience in analyzing and solving parts and process mishaps  

Responsibilities:

• Proactively lead, guide and mentor the manufacturing engineers 
• Observe and manage budget performances & equipment and labor resource allocation 
• Familiarity with Lean practices and problem solving techniques such as RCCA, A3, 5 Why’s and PFMEA
• Meticulously enforce and protect safety culture within the manufacturing engineering organization
• Supervise and support subordinates performing the following duties:
  • Develop production processes and documentation.
  • Developing time standards.
  • Create/modify manufacturing planning; create standard work instructions.
  • Review and approve new and existing engineering drawings for manufacturability.
• Must be able to travel to Tijuana, MX monthly
