CRB Workforce is currently seeking a Business Development Representative (Staffing & Recruiting Agency) to join our growing sales team and expand our client base.

Daily Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement top-of-the-funnel lead generation and marketing strategies to prospect and acquire new clients.
  • Effectively create a daily call plan or action plan to help accomplish activity expectations. THIS IS A HIGH ACTIVITY VOLUME role. You must be comfortable on the phone and be willing to make 80-100 cold calls/day.
  • Identify and establish relationships with mid to high level hiring managers as well as key decision-makers within prospect accounts to secure new business opportunities ranging from contract to full-time. Contract opportunities will be the focus of this role.
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with prospective clients by phone, email and other means of communication, continuously assessing and communicating how CRB Workforce can add value to their organization.
  • Work in close conjunction with CRB Workforce recruiters to clearly communicate client requirements, ensuring the successful identification of candidates.
Required Skills:
  • 0-2 years’ experience in a business development role.
  • No industry experience is required and recent college graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Competitive high school or collegiate sports background a plus
  • A high level of comfort with performing cold calls with strong oral communication skills. You are professional, well-spoken and have a knack for negotiating
  • Tenacity to chase sales leads and close deals
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize time effectively
  • A proven ability and/or drive to prospect, develop business, and build relationships
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Capable of developing a strong business case for client action
  • Some knowledge of IT terminology and processes, as well as general business development understanding is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using Google Suite / MS Office products

Compensation and Benefits

  • This position offers a competitive base salary with a generous commission/bonus structure.
    • Range: $40,000 – $70,000 base depending on experience, location, and other factors.
    • Year 1 Total Comp is expected to be 80-100K and year 2 – north of $250,000
