Qualifications:
Therefore, all applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined in ITAR 120.15 (e.g., U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or protected individual
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or other related technical field
Minimum 2 years of directly related industry experience, Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field may substitute up to 2 years of experience
Knowledge of GPS tracking and telemetry systems
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, coordination and presentation skills
Ability to work in a team or as an individual contributor
Self-motivated to manage and close on assignments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Applications
Available to work launch and issues outside of business hours
Available to travel
Responsibilities:
As an RF Engineer on the Major Development team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating GPS Tracking Systems and Telemetry Systems for ULA launch vehicles
Definition of launch vehicle RF system and component requirements
Working with hardware suppliers in support of component development and qualification testing
Supporting integration of components on to the vehicle
Developing test procedures to ensure requirements are met
Developing and executing system-level tests in the integration labs, including GPS Simulation
Performing vehicle GPS noise and coverage analyses
Performing software and hardware data reviews
Supporting Guidance team for blended navigation
